Isaiah 24:6

English Standard Version

6 Therefore a curse devours the earth, and its inhabitants suffer for their guilt; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are scorched, and few men are left. (Ps 5:10; Zec 5:3) 

New International Version

6 Therefore a curse consumes the earth; its people must bear their guilt. Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 So the LORD will send a curse on the earth. Its people will pay for what they’ve done. They will be burned up. Very few of them will be left. 

King James Version

6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
