Hebrews 5:2

2 He can deal gently with the ignorant and wayward, since he himself is beset with weakness. (Heb 2:18; Heb 4:15; Heb 7:28)

New International Version

2 He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he himself is subject to weakness.

New International Reader’s Version

2 Some people have gone astray without knowing it. He is able to deal gently with them. He can do that because he himself is weak.

King James Version

2 Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.
