Habbakuk 2:3

English Standard Version

3 For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. (Isa 8:17; Eze 7:5; Da 10:14; Zep 3:8; Heb 10:37; 2Pe 3:9)

New International Version

3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it[1] will certainly come and will not delay.

New International Reader’s Version

3 The message I give you waits for the time I have appointed. It speaks about what is going to happen. And all of it will come true. It might take a while. But wait for it. You can be sure it will come. It will happen when I want it to.

King James Version

3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
