Genesis 5:29

English Standard Version

29 and called his name Noah, saying, “Out of the ground that the Lord has cursed, this one shall bring us relief[1] from our work and from the painful toil of our hands.” (Ge 3:17) 

New International Version

29 He named him Noah[1] and said, ‘He will comfort us in the labour and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the Lord has cursed.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

29 and named him Noah. Lamech said, ‘He will comfort us when we are working. He’ll comfort us when our hands work so hard they hurt. We have to work hard because the LORD put a curse on the ground.’ 

King James Version

29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
