Genesis 49:10

English Standard Version

10 The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until tribute comes to him;[1] and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples. (Nu 24:17; De 28:57; Zec 10:11)

New International Version

10 The sceptre will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,[1] until he to whom it belongs[2] shall come and the obedience of the nations shall be his.

New International Reader’s Version

10 The right to rule will not leave Judah. The ruler’s sceptre will not be taken from between his feet. It will be his until the king it belongs to will come. The nations will obey that king.
