8 And the child grew and was weaned. And Abraham made a great feast on the day that Isaac was weaned. 

New International Version

8 The child grew and was weaned, and on the day Isaac was weaned Abraham held a great feast. 

New International Reader’s Version

8 Isaac grew. The time came for his mother to stop breast-feeding him. On that day Abraham prepared a big celebration. 

King James Version

8 And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.
