24 Then the Lord rained on Sodom and Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the Lord out of heaven. (De 29:23; Jer 20:16; Jer 50:40; La 4:6; Am 4:11; Zep 2:9; Lu 17:29; 2Pe 2:6) 

New International Version

24 Then the Lord rained down burning sulphur on Sodom and Gomorrah – from the Lord out of the heavens. 

New International Reader’s Version

24 Then the LORD sent down burning sulphur. It came down like rain on Sodom and Gomorrah. It came from the LORD. It came out of the sky. 

King James Version

24 Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
