Ezra 3:11

English Standard Version

11 And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord, “For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever toward Israel.” And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid. (1Ch 16:34; 1Ch 16:41) 

New International Version

11 With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the Lord: ‘He is good; his love towards Israel endures for ever.’ And all the people gave a great shout of praise to the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid. 

New International Reader’s Version

11 They sang to the LORD. They praised him. They gave thanks to him. They said, ‘The LORD is good. His faithful love to Israel continues for ever.’ All the people gave a loud shout. They praised the LORD. They were glad because the foundation of the LORD’s temple had been laid. 

King James Version

11 And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the LORD; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.
