Ezra 10:3

English Standard Version

3 Therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all these wives and their children, according to the counsel of my lord[1] and of those who tremble at the commandment of our God, and let it be done according to the Law. (De 7:2; 2Ch 34:31; Ezr 9:4; Ezr 10:44) 

New International Version

3 Now let us make a covenant before our God to send away all these women and their children, in accordance with the counsel of my lord and of those who fear the commands of our God. Let it be done according to the Law. 

New International Reader’s Version

3 So let’s make a covenant in front of our God. Let’s promise to send away all these women and their children. That’s what you have advised us to do. Those who respect our God’s commands have given us the same advice. We want to do what the Law says.

3 Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law.
