Ezekiel 8:2

English Standard Version

2 Then I looked, and behold, a form that had the appearance of a man.[1] Below what appeared to be his waist was fire, and above his waist was something like the appearance of brightness, like gleaming metal.[2] (Eze 1:4; Eze 1:27)

New International Version

2 I looked, and I saw a figure like that of a man.[1] From what appeared to be his waist down he was like fire, and from there up his appearance was as bright as glowing metal.

2 I looked up and saw a figure that appeared to be human. From his waist down he looked like fire. From his waist up he looked as bright as glowing metal.

King James Version

2 Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber.
