Exodus 2:3

English Standard Version

3 When she could hide him no longer, she took for him a basket made of bulrushes[1] and daubed it with bitumen and pitch. She put the child in it and placed it among the reeds by the river bank. (Ex 2:5; Isa 19:6)

New International Version

3 But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket[1] for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile. (Ge 6:14)

New International Reader’s Version

3 After that, she couldn’t hide him any longer. So she got a basket made out of the stems of tall grass. She coated the basket with tar. She placed the child in the basket. Then she put it in the tall grass that grew along the bank of the River Nile.

King James Version

3 And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with slime and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river' brink.
