Exodus 23:7

English Standard Version

7 Keep far from a false charge, and do not kill the innocent and righteous, for I will not acquit the wicked. (Ex 23:1; Ex 34:7; De 27:25; Pr 17:26) 

New International Version

7 Have nothing to do with a false charge and do not put an innocent or honest person to death, for I will not acquit the guilty. 

New International Reader’s Version

7 Do not have anything to do with a false charge. Do not put to death people not guilty of doing anything wrong. I will not let guilty people go free. 

King James Version

7 Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
