33 The Egyptians were urgent with the people to send them out of the land in haste. For they said, “We shall all be dead.” (Ex 6:1; Ex 11:1; Ex 11:8; Ps 105:38) 

New International Version

33 The Egyptians urged the people to hurry and leave the country. ‘For otherwise,’ they said, ‘we will all die!’ 

New International Reader’s Version

33 The Egyptians begged the people of Israel to hurry up and leave the country. ‘If you don’t,’ they said, ‘we’ll all die!’ 

King James Version

33 And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men .
