Exodus 12:3

English Standard Version

3 Tell all the congregation of Israel that on the tenth day of this month every man shall take a lamb according to their fathers’ houses, a lamb for a household. (Ex 12:21) 

New International Version

3 Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb[1] for his family, one for each household. 

New International Reader’s Version

3 Speak to the whole community of Israel. Tell them that on the tenth day of this month each man must get a lamb from his flock. A lamb should be chosen for each family and home. 

King James Version

3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
