Ephesians 4:16

English Standard Version

16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love. (Eph 4:7; Col 2:19) 

New International Version

16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. 

New International Reader’s Version

16 He makes the whole body grow and build itself up in love. Under the control of Christ, each part of the body does its work. It supports the other parts. In that way, the body is joined and held together. 

King James Version

16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
