Ecclesiastes 2:24

English Standard Version

24 There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment[1] in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God, (Ec 3:12; Ec 3:13; Ec 3:22; Ec 5:18; Ec 5:19; Ec 8:15; Ec 9:7; Lu 12:19; 1Co 15:32; 1Ti 6:17) 

New International Version

24 A person can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in their own toil. This too, I see, is from the hand of God, 

New International Reader’s Version

24 A person can’t do anything better than eat, drink and be satisfied with their work. I’m finally seeing that those things also come from the hand of God. 

King James Version

24 There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.
