Deuteronomy 32:10

English Standard Version

10 “He found him in a desert land, and in the howling waste of the wilderness; he encircled him, he cared for him, he kept him as the apple of his eye. (De 8:15; Ps 17:8; Ps 32:10; Pr 7:2; Jer 2:6; Ho 13:5; Zec 2:8) 

New International Version

10 In a desert land he found him, in a barren and howling waste. He shielded him and cared for him; he guarded him as the apple of his eye, 

New International Reader’s Version

10 The LORD found Israel in a desert. He found them in an empty and windy land. He took care of them and kept them safe. He guarded them as he would guard his own eyes. 

King James Version

10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.
