Daniel 8:27

English Standard Version

27 And I, Daniel, was overcome and lay sick for some days. Then I rose and went about the king’s business, but I was appalled by the vision and did not understand it. (Da 7:28; Da 8:16) 

New International Version

27 I, Daniel, was worn out. I lay exhausted for several days. Then I got up and went about the king’s business. I was appalled by the vision; it was beyond understanding. 

New International Reader’s Version

27 I, Daniel, was worn out. I was too tired to get up for several days. Then I got up and returned to my work for the king. The vision bewildered me. I couldn’t understand it. 

King James Version

27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king' business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it .
