Amos 7:11

English Standard Version

11 For thus Amos has said, “‘Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel must go into exile away from his land.’” (Am 6:7) 

New International Version

11 For this is what Amos is saying: ‘ “Jeroboam will die by the sword, and Israel will surely go into exile, away from their native land.” ’ 

New International Reader’s Version

11 Amos is telling them, ‘ “Jeroboam will be killed by a sword. The people of Israel will be taken away as prisoners. They will be carried off from their own land.” ’ 

King James Version

11 For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.
