21 and when he was exposed, Pharaoh’s daughter adopted him and brought him up as her own son. (Ex 2:3) 

New International Version

21 When he was placed outside, Pharaoh’s daughter took him and brought him up as her own son. 

New International Reader’s Version

21 Then he was placed outside. But Pharaoh’s daughter took him home. She brought him up as her own son.
