4 I persecuted this Way to the death, binding and delivering to prison both men and women, (Ac 5:20; Ac 8:1; Ac 8:3; Ac 9:2; Ac 22:19; Ac 22:20; Ac 26:10) 

New International Version

4 I persecuted the followers of this Way to their death, arresting both men and women and throwing them into prison,

4 I hurt the followers of the Way of Jesus. I sent many of them to their death. I arrested men and women. I threw them into prison.
