1 وَفِي آخِرِ كُلِّ سَنَةٍ سَابِعَةٍ تُبْرِئُ الْمَدْيُونِينَ مِنَ الدُّيُونِ 2 وَهَذَا هُوَ الإِجْرَاءُ: يَقُومُ كُلُّ دَائِنٍ بِإِبْرَاءِ مَدِينِهِ مِمَّا أَقْرَضَهُ، وَلا يُطَالِبُ أَخَاهُ الإِسْرَائِيلِيَّ بِهِ، لأَنَّهُ قَدْ نُودِيَ بِوَقْتِ الرَّبِّ لإِلْغَاءِ الدُّيُونِ. 3 أَمَّا الأَجْنَبِيُّ فَتُطَالِبُهُ بِالدَّيْنِ، وَأَمَّا أَخُوكَ فَتُبْرِئُهُ مِنْ دُيُونِهِ. 4 وَلَكِنْ لَنْ يَكُونَ فَقِيرٌ بَيْنَكُمْ، لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ سَيُبَارِكُ الأَرْضَ الَّتِي وَرَّثَهَا لَكُمْ مِلْكاً. 5 فَإِنْ سَمِعْتُمْ صَوْتَ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ وَأَطَعْتُمْ، وَعَمِلْتُمْ بِكُلِّ مَا أَنَا أَوْصَيْتُكُمْ بِهِ الْيَوْمَ، 6 فَإِنَّ الرَّبَّ إِلَهَكُمْ يُبَارِكُكُمْ كَمَا وَعَدَ، فَتُقْرِضُونَ أُمَماً كَثِيرَةً وَلا تَقْتَرِضُونَ مِنْ أَحَدٍ، وَتَتَسَلَّطُونَ عَلَى أُمَمٍ كَثِيرَةٍ وَلا يَتَسَلَّطُ أَحَدٌ عَلَيْكُمْ. 7 إِنْ وُجِدَ بَيْنَكُمْ إِسْرَائِيلِيٌّ فَقِيرٌ مُقِيمٌ فِي أَيِّ مَدِينَةٍ مِنْ مُدُنِ الأَرْضِ الَّتِي سَيَهَبُهَا لَكُمُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ، فَلا تُقَسُّوا قُلُوبَكُمْ وَتَمْتَنِعُوا عَنْ إِعَانَتِهِ، 8 بَلِ اسْخُوا عَلَيْهِ وَأَقْرِضُوهُ مِقْدَارَ مَا يَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْهِ. 9 إِيَّاكُمْ أَنْ تُحَدِّثُوا قُلُوبَكُمْ بِخُبْثٍ قَائِلِينَ: هَا قَدْ قَرُبَتِ السَّنَةُ السَّابِعَةُ، سَنَةُ الإِبْرَاءِ مِنَ الدُّيُونِ فَيَسُوءُ الأَمْرُ فِي أَعْيُنِكُمْ وَتَمْتَنِعُونَ عَنْ إِقْرَاضِهِ. فَإِنْ فَعَلْتُمْ هَذَا فَإِنَّهُ يَسْتَغِيثُ بِالرَّبِّ عَلَيْكُمْ، فَتُصْبِحُونَ مُذْنِبِينَ فِي حُكْمِ الرَّبِّ. 10 أَقْرِضُوهُ عَنْ طِيبِ خَاطِرٍ، لأَنَّهُ مِنْ أَجْلِ هَذَا يُبَارِكُكُمُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ فِي كُلِّ أَعْمَالِكُمْ وَمَا تُنْتِجُهُ أَيْدِيكُمْ، 11 فَالأَرْضُ لَنْ تَخْلُوَ أَبَداً مِنَ الْفُقَرَاءِ، لِهَذَا أُوصِيكُمْ أَنْ تَسْخُوا عَلَى أَخِيكُمُ الْمِسْكِينِ وَالْفَقِيرِ الْمُقِيمِ فِي أَرْضِكُمْ.

12 إِذَا اشْتَرَيْتَ عِبْرَانِيًّا أَوْ عِبْرَانِيَّةً، وَخَدَمَكَ سِتَّ سَنَوَاتٍ، فَفِي السَّنَةِ السَّابِعَةِ تُطْلِقُهُ حُرّاً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ. 13 لَا تُطْلِقْهُ صِفْرَ الْيَدَيْنِ، 14 بَلْ زَوِّدْهُ مِمَّا بَارَكَكَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ بِهِ، مِنْ غَنَمٍ وَقَمْحٍ وَزَيْتٍ. 15 وَاذْكُرُوا أَنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ عَبِيداً فِي دِيَارِ مِصْرَ، فَحَرَّرَكُمُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ. لِذَلِكَ أُوصِيكُمْ بِهَذَا الأَمْرِ الْيَوْمَ. 16 وَلَكِنْ إِنْ قَالَ لَكَ الْعَبْدُ: إِنَّنِي لَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَتْرُكَكَ لأَنَّهُ قَدْ أَحَبَّكَ وَأَحَبَّ بَيْتَكَ وَتَمَتَّعَ بِالْخَيْرِ عِنْدَكَ، 17 فَخُذْ مِثْقَباً وَاثْقُبْ بِهِ أُذْنَهُ أَمَامَ قُضَاةِ الْمَدِينَةِ، فَيُصْبِحَ لَكَ عَبْداً مَدَى حَيَاتِهِ. وَكَذَلِكَ تَفْعَلُ بِأَمَتِكَ. 18 لَا يَصْعُبْ عَلَيْكَ إِطْلاقُهُ حُرّاً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ، لأَنَّهُ قَدْ خَدَمَكَ فِي سِتِّ سَنَوَاتٍ بِمَا يُعَادِلُ ضِعْفَيْ أُجْرَةِ الأَجِيرِ، وَبِذَلِكَ يُبَارِكُكَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكَ فِي كُلِّ مَا تَعْمَلُهُ.

19 خَصِّصْ لِلرَّبِّ كُلَّ بِكْرٍ ذَكَرٍ مِنْ بَقَرِكَ وَمِنْ غَنَمِكَ. لَا تَسْتَخْدِمْ بِكْرَ بَقَرِكَ وَلا تَجُزَّ صُوفَ بِكْرِ غَنَمِكَ، 20 بَلْ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ تَأْكُلَهُ أَنْتَ وَأَهْلُ بَيْتِكَ، كُلَّ سَنَةٍ بِسَنَتِهَا، فِي الْمَوْضِعِ الَّذِي يَخْتَارُهُ الرَّبُّ. 21 وَلَكِنْ إِنْ كَانَ فِي الْبِكْرِ عَيْبٌ مِنْ عَرَجٍ أَوْ عَمىً أَوْ أَيِّ عَيْبٍ، فَلا تَذْبَحْهُ لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ، 22 بَلْ تَأْكُلُهُ فِي مَدِينَتِكَ، الطَّاهِرُ وَالنَّجِسُ عَلَى حَدٍّ سَوَاءٍ، تَأْكُلُونَهُ كَمَا تَأْكُلُونَ الظَّبْيَ وَالأُيَّلَ. 23 أَمَّا دَمُهُ فَاسْكُبُوهُ عَلَى الأَرْضِ وَلا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْهُ.

L’anno di remissione

1 «Alla fine di ogni settennio celebrerete l’anno di remissione. 2 Ecco la regola di questa remissione: ogni creditore sospenderà il suo diritto relativo al prestito fatto al suo prossimo; non esigerà il pagamento dal suo prossimo o dal fratello, quando si sarà proclamato l’anno di remissione in onore del Signore. 3 Potrai esigerlo dallo straniero, ma sospenderai il tuo diritto su ciò che tuo fratello avrà di tuo. 4 Così non vi sarà nessun povero in mezzo a voi, poiché il Signore senza dubbio ti benedirà nel paese che il Signore, il tuo Dio, ti dà in eredità, perché tu lo possegga. 5 Soltanto, ubbidisci diligentemente alla voce del Signore tuo Dio, avendo cura di mettere in pratica tutti questi comandamenti che oggi ti do. 6 Il Signore tuo Dio ti benedirà, come ti ha promesso; tu farai dei prestiti a molte nazioni e non prenderai nulla in prestito; dominerai su molte nazioni ed esse non domineranno su di te. 7 Se ci sarà in mezzo a voi in una delle città del paese che il Signore, il tuo Dio, ti dà, un fratello bisognoso, non indurirai il tuo cuore e non chiuderai la mano davanti al tuo fratello bisognoso; 8 anzi gli aprirai largamente la mano e gli presterai tutto ciò che gli serve per la necessità in cui si trova. 9 Guàrdati dall’accogliere nel tuo cuore un cattivo pensiero che ti faccia dire: “Il settimo anno, l’anno di remissione, è vicino!”, e ti spinga ad essere spietato verso il tuo fratello bisognoso, così che non gli darai nulla; poiché egli griderebbe al Signore contro di te, e un peccato sarebbe su di te. 10 Dagli generosamente; e quando gli darai, non te ne dolga il cuore; perché, a motivo di questo, il Signore, il tuo Dio, ti benedirà in ogni opera tua e in ogni cosa a cui porrai mano. 11 Poiché i bisognosi non mancheranno mai nel paese; perciò io ti do questo comandamento e ti dico: apri generosamente la tua mano al fratello povero e bisognoso che è nel tuo paese. 12 Se un tuo fratello ebreo o una sorella ebrea si vende a te, ti servirà sei anni; ma il settimo, lo manderai via da te libero. 13 Quando lo manderai via da te libero, non lo rimanderai a mani vuote; 14 lo fornirai generosamente di doni presi dal tuo gregge, dalla tua aia e dal tuo torchio; lo farai partecipe delle benedizioni che il Signore, il tuo Dio, ti avrà elargito; 15 ti ricorderai che sei stato schiavo nel paese d’Egitto e che il Signore, il tuo Dio, ti ha redento; perciò io ti do oggi questo comandamento. 16 Ma se il tuo schiavo ti dice: “Non voglio andarmene via da te”. Lo stesso farai per la tua schiava. 18 Non ti dispiaccia rimandarlo libero, poiché ti ha servito sei anni e un operaio ti sarebbe costato il doppio, e il Signore, il tuo Dio, ti benedirà in tutto quel che farai.

19 «Consacrerai al Signore tuo Dio ogni primogenito maschio che nascerà nei tuoi armenti e nelle tue greggi. Non metterai al lavoro il primogenito della tua vacca e non toserai il primogenito della tua pecora. 20 Li mangerai ogni anno con la tua famiglia, in presenza del Signore tuo Dio, nel luogo che il Signore avrà scelto. 21 Se l’animale ha qualche difetto, se è zoppo o cieco o ha qualche altro grave difetto, non lo sacrificherai al Signore tuo Dio; 22 lo mangerai nelle tue città; colui che sarà impuro e colui che sarà puro ne mangeranno senza distinzione, come si mangia la gazzella e il cervo. 23 Però non ne mangerai il sangue; lo spargerai per terra come acqua.

10 You shall give to him freely, and your heart shall not be grudging when you give to him, because for this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake.
