Noah und seine Familie gehen in die Arche

1 Und der HERR sprach zu Noah: Geh in die Arche, du und dein ganzes Haus; denn dich habe ich gerecht vor mir erfunden in dieser Generation. (1Mo 6,9; Hes 14,14; Lk 1,6) 2 Von allem reinen Vieh sollst du je sieben zu dir nehmen, ein Männchen und sein Weibchen; und von dem Vieh, das nicht rein ist, ⟨je⟩ zwei, ein Männchen und sein Weibchen; (1Mo 8,20; 3Mo 11,1) 3 auch von den Vögeln des Himmels je sieben, ein Männliches und ein Weibliches: um Nachwuchs^[1] am Leben zu erhalten auf der Fläche der ganzen Erde! (1Mo 8,20; 3Mo 11,1) 4 Denn noch sieben Tage, dann lasse ich auf die Erde regnen vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte lang und lösche von der Fläche des Erdbodens alles Bestehende aus, das ich gemacht habe. – 5 Und Noah tat nach allem, was der HERR ihm geboten hatte. 8 Von dem reinen Vieh und von dem Vieh, das nicht rein ist, und von den Vögeln und von allem, was auf dem Erdboden kriecht, 9 kamen je zwei zu Noah in die Arche, ein Männliches und ein Weibliches, wie Gott dem Noah geboten hatte. (1Mo 6,22; 1Mo 7,16)

Überschwemmung der Erde

10 Und es geschah nach sieben Tagen, da kam das Wasser der Flut über die Erde. 11 Im 600. Lebensjahr Noahs, im zweiten Monat, am siebzehnten Tag des Monats, an diesem Tag brachen alle Quellen der großen Tiefe^[2] auf, und die Fenster des Himmels öffneten sich. 12 Und der Regen fiel auf die Erde vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte lang. 13 An ebendiesem Tag gingen Noah und Sem und Ham und Jafet, die Söhne Noahs, und die Frau Noahs und die drei Frauen seiner Söhne mit ihnen in die Arche, (1Mo 5,32) 14 sie und alle Tiere nach ihrer Art und alles Vieh nach seiner Art und alle kriechenden Tiere, die auf der Erde kriechen, nach ihrer Art und alle Vögel nach ihrer Art, jeder Vogel jeglichen Gefieders. 15 Und sie gingen zu Noah in die Arche, je zwei und zwei von allem Fleisch, in dem Lebensodem war. 16 Und die, die hineingingen, waren^[3] ⟨je⟩ ein Männliches und ein Weibliches von allem Fleisch, wie Gott ihm geboten hatte. Und das Wasser wuchs und hob die Arche empor, sodass sie sich über die Erde erhob. (Am 9,6) 18 Und das Wasser schwoll an und wuchs gewaltig auf der Erde; und die Arche fuhr auf der Fläche des Wassers. 19 Und das Wasser schwoll sehr, sehr an auf der Erde, sodass alle hohen Berge, die unter dem ganzen Himmel sind, bedeckt wurden. (Ps 104,6) 21 Da kam alles Fleisch um, das sich auf der Erde regte, ⟨alles⟩ an Vögeln und an Vieh und an Tieren und an allem Gewimmel, das auf der Erde wimmelte, und alle Menschen; 22 alles starb, in dessen Nase ein Hauch von Lebensodem war, von allem, was auf dem trockenen Land ⟨lebte⟩. 23 So löschte er alles Bestehende aus, das auf der Fläche des Erdbodens war, vom Menschen bis zum Vieh, bis zu den kriechenden Tieren und bis zu den Vögeln des Himmels; und sie wurden von der Erde ausgelöscht. 1 Then the LORD said to Noah, ‘Go into the ark with your whole family. I know that you are a godly man among the people of today. 2 Take seven pairs of every kind of “clean” animal with you. Take a male and a female of each kind. Take one pair of every kind of animal that is not “clean”. Take a male and a female of each kind. 3 Also take seven pairs of every kind of bird. Take a male and a female of each kind. Then every kind will be kept alive. They can spread out again over the whole earth. 4 Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth. It will rain for 40 days and 40 nights. I will destroy from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.’ 5 Noah did everything the LORD commanded him to do. 6 Noah was 600 years old when the flood came on the earth. 7 He and his sons entered the ark. His wife and his sons’ wives went with them. They entered the ark to escape the waters of the flood. 8 Male and female pairs of ‘clean’ animals and pairs of animals that were not ‘clean’ came to Noah. So did male and female pairs of birds and of all the creatures that move along the ground. 9 All of them came to Noah and entered the ark. Everything happened just as God had commanded Noah. 10 After seven days the flood came on the earth. 11 Noah was 600 years old. It was the 17th day of the second month of the year. On that day all of the springs at the bottom of the oceans burst open. God opened the windows of the sky. 12 Rain fell on the earth for 40 days and 40 nights. 13 On that same day Noah entered the ark together with his sons Shem, Ham and Japheth. Noah’s wife and the wives of his three sons also entered it. 14 They had every kind of wild animal with them. They had every kind of livestock, creature that moves along the ground, and bird that flies. 15 Pairs of all living creatures that breathe came to Noah and entered the ark. 16 The animals going in were male and female of every living thing. Everything happened just as God had commanded Noah. Then the LORD shut him in. 17 For 40 days the flood kept coming on the earth. As the waters rose higher, they lifted the ark high above the earth. 18 The waters rose higher and higher on the earth. And the ark floated on the water. 19 The waters rose on the earth until all the high mountains under the entire sky were covered. 20 The waters continued to rise until they covered the mountains by more than 7 metres. 21 Every living thing that moved on land died. The birds, the livestock and the wild animals died. All of the creatures that fill the earth also died. And so did every human being. 22 Every breathing thing on dry land died. 23 Every living thing on earth was wiped out. People and animals were destroyed. The creatures that move along the ground and the birds in the sky were wiped out. Everything on earth was destroyed. Only Noah and those with him in the ark were left. 24 The waters flooded the earth for 150 days.
