Psalm 23

He leads me beside still waters.[1] (Eze 34:14; Joh 10:9)3 He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness[2] for his name’s sake. (Ps 5:8; Ps 19:7; Ps 25:11; Ps 31:3; Ps 79:9; Ps 109:21; Ps 139:10; Ps 139:24; Ps 143:10; Pr 4:11; Pr 8:20; Isa 40:11; Isa 49:10; Eze 20:9; Eze 20:14)4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,[3] I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (Ex 3:12; Job 3:5; Ps 3:6; Ps 27:1; Ps 27:3; Ps 118:6; Ps 138:7; Isa 43:2; Mic 7:14)5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
