Ac 8:27So Philip started out. On his way he met an Ethiopian official. The man had an important position in charge of all the wealth of the Kandake. Kandake means queen of Ethiopia. This official had gone to Jerusalem to worship.Ac 8:12But Philip announced the good news of God’s kingdom and the name of Jesus Christ. So men and women believed and were baptised.Ac 8:40Philip was seen next at Azotus. From there he travelled all around. He preached the good news in all the towns. Finally he arrived in Caesarea.Joh 14:8Philip said, ‘Lord, show us the Father. That will be enough for us.’Ac 8:26An angel of the Lord spoke to Philip. ‘Go south to the desert road,’ he said. ‘It’s the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.’Joh 1:43The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, ‘Follow me.’Ac 8:5Philip went down to a city in Samaria. There he preached about the Messiah.Joh 1:44Philip was from the town of Bethsaida. So were Andrew and Peter.Ac 8:35Then Philip began with that same part of Scripture. He told him the good news about Jesus.Ac 8:38He gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the official went down into the water. Philip baptised him.Joh 12:21They came to ask Philip for a favour. Philip was from Bethsaida in Galilee. ‘Sir’, they said, ‘we would like to see Jesus.’Ac 8:4The believers who had been scattered preached the word everywhere they went.Joh 6:6He asked this only to test Philip. He already knew what he was going to do.Ac 8:6The crowds listened to Philip and saw the signs he did. All of them paid close attention to what he said.Ac 8:30So Philip ran up to the chariot. He heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. ‘Do you understand what you’re reading?’ Philip asked.Joh 12:22Philip went to tell Andrew. Then Andrew and Philip told Jesus.Joh 6:5Jesus looked up and saw a large crowd coming towards him. It is an important city in that part of Macedonia. We stayed there several days.Ac 8:13Simon himself believed and was baptised. He followed Philip everywhere. He was amazed by the great signs and miracles he saw.Ac 6:5This plan pleased the whole group. They chose Stephen. He was full of faith and of the Holy Spirit. Philip, Procorus, Nicanor, Timon and Parmenas were chosen too. The group also chose Nicolas from Antioch. He had accepted the Jewish faith.Ac 8:31‘How can I?’ he said. ‘I need someone to explain it to me.’ So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.Ac 8:39When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away. The official did not see him again. He went on his way full of joy.Joh 1:45Philip found Nathanael and told him, ‘We have found the one whom Moses wrote about in the Law. The prophets also wrote about him. He is Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.’Mt 10:3Next were Philip and Bartholomew, and also Thomas and Matthew the tax collector. Two more were James, son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus.Ac 12:20He had been quarrelling with the people of Tyre and Sidon. So they got together and asked for a meeting with him. This was because they depended on the king’s country to supply them with food. They gained the support of Blastus and then asked for peace. Blastus was a trusted personal servant of the king.Joh 6:7Philip answered him, ‘Suppose we were able to buy enough bread for each person to have just a bite. That would take more than half a year’s pay!’Joh 1:46‘Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?’ Nathanael asked. ‘Come and see,’ said Philip.Ac 21:8The next day we left and arrived at Caesarea. We stayed at the house of Philip the evangelist. He was one of the seven deacons.Ac 16:11At Troas we got into a boat. We sailed straight for Samothrace. Get them ready to go to Caesarea at nine o’clock tonight.2Sa 5:17The Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over Israel. So their whole army went to look for him.
