1Jo 5:13 I’m writing these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God. I’m writing so you will know that you have eternal life.Pr 22:17 Pay attention and listen to the sayings of wise people. Apply your heart to the sayings I teach.1Jo 3:24 The one who obeys God’s commands remains joined to him. And he remains joined to them. Here is how we know that God lives in us. We know it because of the Holy Spirit he gave us.Re 1:9 I, John, am a believer like you. I am a friend who suffers like you. As members of Jesus’ royal family, we can put up with anything that happens to us. I was on the island of Patmos because I taught God’s word and what Jesus said.1Jo 2:28 Dear children, remain joined to Christ. Then when he comes, we can be bold. We will not be ashamed to meet him when he comes.1Jo 1:5 Here is the message we have heard from him and announce to you. God is light. There is no darkness in him at all.1Jo 5:20 We also know that the Son of God has come. He has given us understanding. So we can know the God who is true. And we belong to the true God by belonging to his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.1Jo 2:14 Dear children, I’m writing to you because you know the Father. Fathers, I’m writing to you because you know the one who is from the beginning. Young men, I’m writing to you because you are strong. God’s word lives in you. You have won the battle over the evil one.Ex 25:23 ‘Make a table out of acacia wood. Make it 1 metre long, half a metre wide and 75 centimetres high.Re 1:5 May grace and peace come to you from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness, so what he has shown can be trusted. He was the first to rise from the dead. He rules over the kings of the earth. Glory and power belong to Jesus Christ who loves us! He has set us free from our sins by pouring out his blood for us.Re 1:6 He has made us members of his royal family. He has made us priests who serve his God and Father. Glory and power belong to Jesus Christ for ever and ever! Amen.1Jo 2:3 We know that we have come to know God if we obey his commands.1Jo 4:12 No one has ever seen God. But if we love one another, God lives in us. His love is made complete in us.1Jo 1:7 But suppose we walk in the light, just as he is in the light. Then we share life with one another. Then we have a friend who speaks to the Father for us. He is Jesus Christ, the Blameless One.1Jo 2:5 But if anyone obeys God’s word, then that person truly loves God. Here is how we know we belong to him.Jud 1:17 Dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ said would happen.1Jo 3:2 Dear friends, now we are children of God. He still hasn’t let us know what we will be. But we know that when Christ appears, we will be like him. That’s because we will see him as he really is.1Pe 1:22 You have made yourselves pure by obeying the truth. So you have an honest and true love for each other. So love one another deeply, from your hearts.1Jo 3:1 See what amazing love the Father has given us! Because of it, we are called children of God. And that’s what we really are! The world doesn’t know us because it didn’t know him.Joh 21:24 This is the disciple who is a witness about these things. He also wrote them down. We know that what he says is true.1Jo 1:3 We announce to you what we have seen and heard. We do it so you can share life together with us. And we share life with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.1Jo 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit. Test the spirits to see if they belong to God. Many false prophets have gone out into the world.1Jo 4:15 God lives in anyone who agrees that Jesus is the Son of God. This kind of person remains joined to God.1Jo 3:14 We know that we have left our old dead way of life. And we have entered into new life. We know this because we love one another. Anyone who doesn’t love still lives in their old condition.1Jo 2:20 You have received the Spirit from the Holy One. And all of you know the truth.1Jo 1:2 This life has appeared. We have seen him. We are witnesses about him. And we announce to you this same eternal life. He was already with the Father. He has appeared to us.1Jo 4:21 Here is the command God has given us. Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.2Pe 3:1 Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders. I want to encourage you to think in a way that is pure.Joh 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming towards him. John said, ‘Look! The Lamb of God! And those who know God listen to us. But those who don’t belong to God don’t listen to us. That’s how we can tell the difference between the Spirit of truth and the spirit of lies.2Co 7:1 Dear friends, we have these promises from God. So let us make ourselves pure from everything that makes our bodies and spirits impure. Let us be completely holy. We want to honour God.1Jo 1:1 Here is what we announce to everyone about the Word of life. The Word was already here from the beginning. We have heard him. We have seen him with our eyes. We have looked at him. Our hands have touched him.Re 22:20 Jesus is a witness about these things. He says, ‘Yes. I am coming soon.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!1Jo 4:4 Dear children, you belong to God. You have not accepted the teachings of the false prophets. That’s because the one who is in you is powerful. He is more powerful than the one who is in the world.2Jo 1:1 I, the elder, am writing this letter. I am sending it to the lady chosen by God and to her children. I love all of you because of the truth. I’m not the only one who loves you. So does everyone who knows the truth.1Co 8:6 But for us there is only one God. He is the Father. All things came from him, and we live for him. And there is only one Lord. He is Jesus Christ. All things came because of him, and we live because of him.Re 22:6 The angel said to me, ‘You can trust these words. They are true. The Lord is the God who gives messages to the prophets. He sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.’Re 1:4 I, John, am writing this letter. I am sending it to the seven churches in Asia Minor. May grace and peace come to you from God. He is the one who is, and who was, and who will come. May grace and peace come to you from the seven spirits. These spirits are in front of God’s throne.Joh 20:31 But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God. What he saw is God’s word and what Jesus Christ has said.Re 22:8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. After that, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel. He is the one who had been showing me these things.Php 4:20 Give glory to our God and Father for ever and ever. Amen.1Jo 3:6 No one who remains joined to him keeps on sinning. No one who keeps on sinning has seen him or known him.Joh 3:21 But anyone who lives by the truth comes into the light. They live by the truth with God’s help. He is the man Christ Jesus.1Jo 2:18 Dear children, we are living in the last days. You have heard that the great enemy of Christ is coming. But even now many enemies of Christ have already come. That’s how we know that these are the last days.Re 2:17 “Whoever has ears should listen to what the Holy Spirit says to the churches. Here is what I will do for anyone who has victory over sin. I will give that person hidden manna to eat. I will also give each of them a white stone with a new name written on it. Only the one who receives this name will know what it is.”Re 1:1 This is the revelation from Jesus Christ. God gave it to him to show those who serve God what will happen soon. God made it known by sending his angel to his servant John.Re 2:18 ‘Here is what I command you to write to the church in Thyatira. Here are the words of the Son of God. He is Jesus, whose eyes are like blazing fire. His feet are like polished bronze. He says,Ac 10:41 But he wasn’t seen by all the people. He was seen only by us. We are witnesses whom God had already chosen. We ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.2Th 2:1 Brothers and sisters, we want to ask you something. It has to do with the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. It concerns the time when we will go to be with him.Ex 37:25 The workers made the altar for burning incense. They made it out of acacia wood. It was about half a metre square and 1 metre high. A horn stuck out from each of its upper four corners.1Th 5:10 Jesus died for us. Some will be alive when he comes. Others will be dead. Either way, we will live together with him.Re 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in. I will eat with that person, and they will eat with me.Joh 1:14 The Word became a human being. He made his home with us. We have seen his glory. It is the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father. And the Word was full of grace and truth.Re 18:4 Then I heard another voice from heaven. It said, ‘ “Come out of her, my people.” Then you will not take part in her sins. You will not suffer from any of her plagues.1Jo 5:2 Here is how we know that we love God’s children. We know it when we love God and obey his commands.1Pe 4:1 Christ suffered in his body. So prepare yourselves to think in the same way Christ did. Do this because whoever suffers in their body is finished with sin.Col 3:16 Let the message about Christ live among you like a rich treasure. Teach and correct one another wisely. Teach one another by singing psalms and hymns and songs from the Spirit. Sing to God with thanks in your hearts.1Jo 5:18 We know that those who are children of God do not keep on sinning. The Son of God keeps them safe. The evil one can’t harm them.Jud 1:24 Give praise to the God who is able to keep you from falling into sin. He will bring you into his heavenly glory without any fault. He will bring you there with great joy.1Th 1:4 Brothers and sisters, you are loved by God. We know that he has chosen you.Re 3:5 Here is what I will do for anyone who has victory over sin. I will dress that person in white like those worthy people. I will never erase their names from the book of life. I will speak of them by name to my Father and his angels.2Co 5:11 We know what it means to have respect for the Lord. So we try to help other people to understand it. What we are is plain to God. I hope it is also plain to your way of thinking.1Jo 1:9 But God is faithful and fair. If we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins. He will forgive every wrong thing we have done. He will make us pure.Heb 12:23 You have come to the church of God’s people. God’s first and only Son is over all things. God’s people share in what belongs to his Son. Their names are written in heaven. You have come to God, who is the Judge of all people. You have come to the spirits of godly people who have been made perfect.Re 19:10 When I heard this, I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, ‘Don’t do that! I serve God, just as you do. I am God’s servant, just like believers who hold firmly to what Jesus has taught. Worship God! The Spirit of prophecy tells the truth about Jesus.’1Jo 1:10 If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar. His word is not in us.2Pe 1:1 I, Simon Peter, am writing this letter. I serve Jesus Christ. I am his apostle. I am sending this letter to you. You are those who have received a faith as valuable as ours. You received it because our God and Saviour Jesus Christ does what is right.1Th 5:1 Brothers and sisters, we don’t have to write to you about times and dates.Jud 1:25 Give praise to the only God our Saviour. Glory, majesty, power and authority belong to him. Give praise to him through Jesus Christ our Lord. His praise was before all time, continues now, and will last for ever. Amen.Eph 6:24 May grace be given to everyone who loves our Lord Jesus Christ with a love that will never die.Re 4:1 After this I looked, and there in front of me was a door standing open in heaven. I heard the voice I had heard before. It sounded like a trumpet. The voice said, ‘Come up here.
